BoConcept, a luxury furniture retailer, just released a very cool 5 minute short, “The Guest”, starring Mads Mikkelssen. His name doesn’t sound so familiar? Remember the slick villain from James Bond Casino Royale who bled out of his eyes? Ya, that’s him, and guess what, he’s actually pretty funny too, when he’s not giving James Bond crap.
We’ve seen a few big brands produce shorts recently instead of traditional advertising. Many brands are also taking the route of hiring a big name actor to anchor them. BoConcept does a fantastic job of not only offering an entertaining/comical 5 minute short video, but also an innovative way of sharing their furniture in its natural environment, a chic living room, bedroom, etc.
In the movie, Mads drives in his awesome Tesla to pick up a friend at the airport. He then brings him back to his amazing home in Valencia, Spain. When they get to the front door, a sexy model opens it with a seductive smile and his friend can barely speak. When they reach the living room with direct view to the swimming pool, there are even more hot models, now splashing around in bikinis, and Mad’s friend looks over at him as his jaw drops even more.
Throughout the entire video, the furniture is subtly being showcased by Mads in a functional and practical manner, while letting it thrive in the environment it’s supposed to, the home. Check it out below.
